New York (UN). September 25. INTERFAX-The presidents of the Russian Federation and Turkey will discuss the implementation of agreements on the settlement of the situation in Syria's Idlib at a meeting scheduled for Wednesday, while the Turkish side is fulfilling its obligations "slowly," Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said on Saturday.
"We are talking with our Turkish partners, who two years ago concluded a special agreement with us that they will fight terrorists in the Idlib de-escalation zone and will separate them from those armed groups that are not terrorist and that cooperate with the Turkish military," Lavrov said at a press conference at the UN.
The Minister noted that"the next meeting of the presidents of Russia and Turkey will take place in a few days, there will be a substantive consideration of how this obligation is being fulfilled."
