American journalist of the Cycle World portal Justin Daves admired the new Russian motorcycle Ural. In his opinion, the vehicle combines vintage features, a powerful engine, modern technologies and an original design.
The observer noted that the motorcycle with the Ural Gear Up Geo sidecar of 2021 received an upgraded Nitron suspension, a special exhaust system for off-road driving, as well as a camouflaged orange color, which is made by hand.
Daves added that the vehicle is equipped with a 749-cc engine with a capacity of 41 horsepower, which allows you to develop a comfortable speed of about 105 kilometers per hour and a maximum of about 130, and five fully adjustable shock absorbers make it convenient to travel even over rough terrain.
The observer warned that the side trailer can rise above the ground during sharp turns, but the presence of a passenger in a wheelchair balances the motorcycle. The journalist also noted a roomy trunk, a comfortable seat for short trips, and a stroller for traveling.
"I spent a few weeks with Ural and found that I was delighted with every minute on it. Not every motorcycle drives you crazy; some get into your heart. It's not the best if you measure pure performance, but if you want to have a good time, there are few things in life that can be better than Gear Up Geo, " Daves concluded.
Earlier it became known that the Russian motorcycle manufacturer Ural has introduced a limited edition Adventure, available exclusively in the US market. Together with the motorcycle, each buyer will receive a tent and a bundle of firewood. The cost of Ural Adventure is 16 thousand dollars (1.15 million rubles).
