Moscow. September 22. INTERFAX-The government plans to allocate 6.8 billion rubles to support the Khrunichev Center, it follows from the explanatory note to the draft three-year budget.
The document notes that" in order to provide state support to the M. V. Khrunichev Center, " it is planned to increase budget allocations by 6.8 billion rubles in 2022.
The Khrunichev Center is one of the main developers of heavy launch vehicles, in particular, the Angara family. Due to financial problems, the company's debt reached 124 billion rubles a few years ago. Most of the debt was closed at the expense of state support.
It is also planned to free up part of the territories of the production sites of the center in Moscow for the creation of a space center there. The space Center with an estimated cost of 25 billion rubles will be built at the expense of the Moscow budget. The height of the tower will reach 248 meters. In addition to the headquarters of Roscosmos, a technopark with enterprises of the aviation and space industry will be located here.
