MOSCOW, September 21. /TASS/. The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation has announced a tender for the provision of services for international military freight rail transportation. Information about the closed auction is available on the public procurement website .
"Provision of services for military cargo transportation in direct international rail traffic for the needs of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation in 2021-2022," the item "object of purchase"says.
The agency is ready to spend up to 854 million rubles for these needs, of which 567 million will be spent in 2022 and 286.9 million in 2023. Applications are accepted until October 7, the auction will be held on October 11.
According to the terms of the contract, transportation is planned to be organized to Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Armenia, Ukraine, Azerbaijan, China, Mongolia, Abkhazia, Belarus, Moldova, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan.
