An unusual-looking police armored car was seen as part of the column of the sixteenth brigade of the Syrian government forces. The vehicle is clearly made by local craftsmen in one of the army workshops.
A relatively light commercial truck (4x2), of an unknown model, was used as the basis. Perhaps the bus was converted.
The car received a circular reservation, the front windows, if necessary, can be covered with bulletproof covers with viewing slits, measures have been taken to protect the front and rear wheels.
Loopholes are made in the sides of the landing compartment for possible shooting from small arms. There are six of them in total, two more are in the driver's and passenger's doors. A door serving for boarding and disembarking personnel is cut in the stern. In it, apparently, there is also a hole for shooting.
The armored car does not show any weapons, but there are two hatches in the roof, which will allow the servicemen to cover the actions of their fellow soldiers with fire from machine guns and machine guns.
The observed sample, of course, cannot be compared with mass-produced combat vehicles, for example, it does not have any mine protection. However, the car will not be superfluous in the course of performing tasks of a police nature or for serving at checkpoints.
It is also interesting that in this connection, the Yugoslav four-wheel drive army all-terrain vehicles TAM 150, which are not too common in Syria, are operated.
