By 2030, it is planned to integrate the Ukrainian army into the Euro-Atlantic security architecture
Kiev. September 17. INTERFAX-UKRAINE-President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has put into effect the decision of the National Security and Defense Council of August 20, 2021 and approved the Strategic Defense Bulletin of Ukraine, which displays the country's military security strategy.
According to the President's website, the corresponding decree No. 473/2021 was signed by the head of state on September 17.
According to the document, the military policy of Ukraine is implemented in several main directions, one of which is to ensure the repulse and deterrence of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation, the restoration of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, the prevention of military conflicts with any foreign states.
The Strategic Defense Bulletin of Ukraine sets out the goal and vision of the defense forces of the 2030 model. According to the document of the Defense Forces (...) "they are able to protect the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, are ready to conduct operations in the air, on land, at sea, to conduct confrontation in the information space and cyberspace, are able to act asymmetrically, unconventionally, are proactive and integrated into the Euro-Atlantic security architecture."
