The tests were held at the Sary-Shagan test site in Kazakhstan.

After one of the tests, Igor Korotchenko, a member of the public council under the Russian Defense Ministry, told RIA Novosti that the adoption of a new anti-missile system will significantly increase the capabilities of the Moscow missile defense system and the Central Industrial District. According to him, we are talking about the 53T6M anti-missile, which is intended to replace the old mine anti-missiles that currently support the operation of the A-135 system.
