The CSTO approved a plan to improve the system of joint training of military personnel for the armed forces of the member states and recommendations on the order of interaction of military educational institutions in the system of joint training of military personnel. This was reported in the press service of the CSTO Joint Staff.
"The decision on giving the Military Medical Academy named after S. M. Kirov the status of a basic educational and methodological organization for the training of military personnel for the CSTO member states in medical and pharmaceutical specialties has been approved. Also during the joint meeting, the heads of the defense departments signed documents on the development of the military component of the Organization developed by the CSTO Joint Staff, including those related to the equipment and composition of military contingents, special forces formations of the CSTO Collective Rapid Reaction Forces, as well as the deployment of a secure multiservice communication network," the press service of the Joint Staff reported.
