TSAMTO, September 14. On September 10, the US Defense Ministry announced the signing of an agreement for the supply of AGM-114 Hellfire ATGM and corresponding containers for the US military and foreign customers by the command for concluding contracts with Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control.
The contract value was $ 101.332 million. The work will be carried out at the enterprise in Orlando (Florida) and will be completed by September 30, 2024. The missiles will be delivered to the Armed Forces of Indonesia, Greece, the United Arab Emirates and Kuwait as part of the "Foreign Military Sales" program. Information about the number of missiles ordered has not been disclosed.
In general, about 15 variants of the Hellfire ATGM have been developed and delivered to customers since the early 1970s.
The main buyer of the AGM-114 is the US Armed Forces. ATGMs were also supplied to the armed forces of Australia, Egypt, France, Greece, Iraq, Israel, Japan, Lebanon, the Republic of Korea, Kuwait, the Netherlands, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Spain, Singapore, Taiwan, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom and other countries.
