MOSCOW, September 13. /TASS/. Sergey Savelyev, Deputy Director General of Roscosmos for International Cooperation, said that the use of unilateral sanctions in the space sphere is unacceptable.
"I would like to emphasize in particular the unacceptability of politicizing space activities, the use of unfair methods of struggle in the market of goods and services in the space field, which are unilateral sanctions," Saveliev said at the international Gagarin Conference.
According to the Deputy Director General of Roscosmos, during the implementation of international projects, it is necessary to find a balance between competition and cooperation, between national benefits and world progress. Saveliev stressed that the success of such projects directly depends on whether the participants can maintain transparency and strengthen mutual trust.
In early June, the general director of Roscosmos, Dmitry Rogozin, held telephone talks with the head of NASA, Bill Nelson. Rogozin then explained that it was about the unacceptability of sanctions against TsNIIMash, which includes the Mission Control Center and the Progress RCC - the manufacturer of Soyuz-2 space rockets.
