Russian President Vladimir Putin has instructed to provide funds in the budget for the indexation of salaries of military and security forces above the inflation rate. The corresponding list of instructions following the results of the second stage of the XX Congress of the United Russia Party is published on the Kremlin's website.
The order was given to the Russian government. Thus, when preparing the draft law on the federal budget for 2022 and for the planning period of 2023 and 2024, it is necessary to provide budget allocations for indexing the monetary allowances of military and law enforcement officers above the inflation rate in 2022 and 2023.
The deadline for executing the order is until October 1, 2021.
On August 31, the head of state signed decrees on a one-time payment of 15 thousand rubles to military personnel and law enforcement officers. Payments will be made this month, they began on September 6.
As the head of the Russian Defense Ministry, Sergei Shoigu, explained, such a payment will be transferred to military personnel due to the high level of inflation and the coronavirus pandemic.
On August 22, at a meeting with representatives of the United Russia Party, Putin took the initiative to pay 10 thousand rubles to all pensioners, including working ones, on a one-time basis. At the same time, the Russian leader proposed to make a one-time payment of an average of 15 thousand rubles to military personnel by the end of 2021, and two days later he instructed to extend this measure to cadets and law enforcement officers.
In addition, the president announced his intention to ask State Duma deputies to put in the budget the indexation of monetary allowances for military personnel and law enforcement officers above inflation.
