The French Foreign Minister accused the Taliban of lying and said that Paris refuses to have any relations with their government

Paris. September 12. INTERFAX-French Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian said that representatives of the Taliban movement (banned in the Russian Federation) do not fulfill the promises they made after coming to power.

"They said they would allow some foreigners and Afghans to leave freely, they talked about an inclusive and representative government, but they are lying," Le Drian said on France 5 television.

The diplomat said: "France refuses to recognize or have any relations with this government. We want action from the Taliban. They themselves need some economic respite and international relations. It depends on them."
