TSAMTO, September 10. During the operational-tactical exercise of the Air Force and Air Defense Forces of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus with live firing, held at the Ashuluk training ground in the Astrakhan region, another successful test of three radars developed by one of the enterprises of the Belarusian defense industry was conducted.
These are the mobile three-coordinate dual-band radar complex "Vostok-3D"; the mobile radar complex for detecting low-altitude targets with a ring phased antenna array "Rosa-RB-M"; the radar for detecting small-sized targets "Rodnik".
As part of the exercise, the radar facilities worked as part of a single complex under the control of a central control center, providing guaranteed detection and stable tracking of targets in a wide range of ranges and altitudes.
The conducted tests confirmed the effectiveness of the joint use of various radars developed by Belarusian designers to create a multi-level system for detecting various types of air targets, including manned and unmanned aircraft, as well as various types of cruise missiles.
It should be noted that the developer company in the current quarter handed over to the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus another radar system for detecting low-altitude targets of the Rosa family.
According to the military department, the delivered products are distinguished by improved characteristics of detecting air targets by range, including at low altitudes, which is especially important taking into account the peculiarities of the tactics of using combat aircraft in armed conflicts of recent years.
The Rosa radar is designed for automatic detection, measurement of primary coordinates (azimuth, range), speed of an air object( VO), automatic detection and tracking of VO routes under the influence of active and passive interference and the issuance of radar information to the remote control system; automatic recognition of VO classes (aircraft, helicopter, cruise missile, balloon), determination of azimuth on the active noise interference director.
The detection zone of the Rosa radar in azimuth is 0-360 degrees, in range-0.3-120 km, in height-0-3 km. At the same time, more than 50 air objects can be accompanied at the same time.
Conducting combat operation of the product is possible both independently and as part of a radar grouping.
