MOSCOW, September 9. /TASS/. By the end of the year, Russia will supply the European customer with the first export batch of the RG120 "Aspid"sports pistol. This was reported to journalists on Thursday in the press service of the Rostec state Corporation.
"For the first time, the Central Research Institute of Precision Engineering of the Rostec State Corporation will export the 9x19-mm RG120 sports self-loading pistol, created as part of the Aspid development work. The first batch of pistols will be delivered to the European customer this year, " the state corporation said.
"Aspid" is a sports pistol developed on the platform of the combat 9x21-mm pistol complex "Boa", designed for shooting at a range of up to 50 m. The product is characterized by increased ergonomics and convenient layout, it can adapt to the individual grip of the shooter.
The guaranteed life of the pistol is 25 thousand shots. It is equipped with an 18-round magazine, as well as a rail mount for sights and additional equipment - a Picatinny rail. 9x19-millimeter Luger cartridges or 9x19-millimeter Para cartridges with a lead-core bullet are used for shooting from a pistol. The gun remains operational at temperatures from minus 30 to plus 50 degrees.
