37 groups of foreign specialists from 22 countries were organized in the "ArMI-2021" competitions
PATRIOT PARK /Moscow Region/, September 4. /TASS/. Observers from NATO countries attended the competitions of the army International Games ("ArMI-2021"), held in Qatar and Serbia, the Russian Defense Ministry reported.
"37 groups of foreign specialists from 22 countries of five continents were organized in 15 competitions" ArMI-2021", which were held on the territory of 11 states. This year, representatives from the NATO bloc countries were present as observers at the "Road Patrol" and "Guardian of Order" competitions held in Qatar and Serbia," the military department said in a statement.
It is noted that for the first time a delegation from Japan visited the Aviadarts competition in Russia as observers. Indonesia and Malaysia also showed interest in competitions held outside the country for the first time.
"The widest international representation - 25 foreign specialists from Vietnam and India-was present as observers at the "Landing Platoon" competition, in which 18 countries took part, " the Russian Defense Ministry reported.
The Army International Games-2021 are held from August 22 to September 4 on the territory of 11 countries (Russia, Algeria, Armenia, Belarus, Vietnam, Iran, Qatar, Kazakhstan, China, Serbia, Uzbekistan). They are attended by more than 5 thousand military personnel consisting of 277 teams from 42 countries.
