The military division of Motovilikha Plants was headed by Viktor Kalinin, who previously held the position of First Deputy Director-Executive Director of CJSC Special Design Bureau (SKB).
In this post, he will replace Rinat Idrisov, who, in turn, having successfully completed the task of Rostec State Corporation to stabilize and stimulate production within the framework of the state defense order, will continue to serve as General Director of the A. I. Yaskin Start NPP, which is part of the Technodinamika holding.
In order to fulfill state contracts concluded with the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, additional jobs are organized in the SKB. Today, the company is actively recruiting production personnel in the specialties "milling cutter", "turner", "boring turner". This year, the wages of auxiliary and main workers of military production increased from 10 to 50% and reached the average level of payment for similar specialties in Perm.
"Now the plant is mastering the production of new civilian products, expanding sales markets, there are new military developments. I am glad that the management understands the development strategy well, has clear plans for what needs to be done to make the company break-even. The civil division finished two years in a row with a profit – this is a good indicator. All this suggests that the plant has a future, " Dmitry Makhonin stressed.
Throughout its history, Motovilikha Plants has been a key enterprise for Russian industry and the country's defense capability. That is why in 2018 the Rostec State Corporation decided to support the enterprise and conduct a financial recovery program. The first stage of the anti-crisis program included not only a standard list of tasks: reducing costs, restoring production volumes of the military and civilian divisions, attracting qualified workers to work and restructuring the industrial site, but also the task of creating a platform for further development of the enterprise. I believe that we have coped with the task. Now the plant faces the task of creating innovative products that can increase the profitability of the enterprise both in terms of civil and military products.
