TSAMTO, September 3. In September 2021, about 200 thousand servicemen from the countries of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO)will take part in the joint Russian-Belarusian strategic exercises "West-2021" and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO).
Practical actions of the troops will be held from September 10 to 16 at nine training grounds in Russia and at five training grounds in Belarus. They will also involve more than 80 aircraft and helicopters, up to 760 units. military equipment (over 290 tanks, more than 240 guns, multiple rocket launchers and mortars), as well as up to 15 ships.
