The head of the US National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), Bill Nelson, discussed cooperation between Washington and Kiev in the space sphere, including a common interest in space research, with Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky in Washington on Tuesday. This is stated in the statement of the head of the American department received by TASS.
"It was an honor for me to meet this morning with the President of Ukraine, Vladimir Zelensky," Nelson said.
"We discussed our renewed commitment to partnership in space, our common interest in research and discovery [in space], as well as the importance of international cooperation in achieving common goals in space," he stressed.
