According to the Minister of Defense, the terrorists have introduced a monetary system and a system of centralized taxation

MOSCOW, August 29. /TASS/. During the counter-terrorist operation in Syria, the Russian Federation faced professional and organized terrorists. This was announced by the head of the Defense Ministry Sergei Shoigu in an exclusive interview for the YouTube channel "Solovyov Live", the footage of which was shown on the TV channel "Russia-1".

"When we first started working in Syria, we quickly realized that it was still equipment that came from Iraq, that those on the other side who did not accept the arrival of troops and another state in Iraq, such very professional and very trained actions of troops. It is the troops, I don't call them anything else - the troops of bandits, the troops of international terrorists. <...> These are not banal bandits from the street, this is a well-organized structure, " Shoigu said.

According to him, the terrorists have introduced a monetary system and a system of centralized taxation. "If necessary, I will send you money, including metal coins that were printed - now they are no longer printed - and paper money. [They had] a whole tax system, " the head of the Defense Ministry added.

The terrorists also had an established medical system for the rehabilitation and recovery of the wounded, Shoigu noted. "And when we understand that we are monitoring the transfer of the wounded there by 20, 30, or even 50 people to other states, that is, a system of evacuation of the wounded to other [places] is organized - where they can be treated," Shoigu said.
