Moscow. August 28. INTERFAX-Russia is relatively comfortable with the coming to power in Afghanistan of the Taliban movement (banned in the Russian Federation), said the special representative of the President of the Russian Federation for Afghanistan, director of the second Department of Asia of the Russian Foreign Ministry Zamir Kabulov.
"We will have to establish relations with the new government in Afghanistan. Frankly speaking, we have been doing this for the last eight years, and because of this, we have met these changes in Afghanistan relatively comfortably, "Kabulov said on the Youtube channel"Solovyov Live".
According to him, at the moment, Russia, together with regional states, as well as Western countries, will have to deal with the economic and social structure of Afghanistan.
"The political arrangement, after all, is the business and right of the Afghans themselves. We will have to patiently participate in the process of forming an inclusive, representative Afghan leadership," the Russian diplomat added.
