A youth personnel reserve will be formed in the Russian military-industrial complex.
This was announced by the deputy chairman of the Board of the Military-Industrial Commission of the Russian Federation Oleg Bochkarev following the results of a round table on the topic "The role of the youth personnel reserve of the defense industry in solving the problems of the development of the defense complex".
The event was held as part of the business program of the VII International Military-Technical Forum "Army-2021". It was organized by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, the project office of the Federal Personnel Reserve of the Military-Industrial Complex (MIC) and the Union of Young Engineers of Russia.
"We are starting a big important work, which I consider as an opportunity for young people to form the rules of the youth personnel reserve. Recently, a meeting of the board of the Military-Industrial Commission of the Russian Federation on the federal personnel reserve of the defense industry was held. We took the initiative to create a youth personnel reserve, and Yuri Ivanovich Borisov supported us. Today, the Military-industrial complex board is waiting for concrete proposals to solve this issue, primarily from the youth of the military-industrial complex, " Oleg Bochkarev said.
The main report was delivered by Vladislav Bevza, the project manager in the field of youth policy of the project office of the Federal Personnel Reserve of the management of the Defense Industry.
He said that at the moment the share of young employees under the age of 35 at the defense industry enterprises is about 30%, reported on the work done and the identified problematic issues, and also suggested that they should be addressed comprehensively, enlisting the support of all participants in the development of the personnel potential of the military-industrial complex.
"The high demand for young specialists in the labor market leads to a large outflow of personnel under the age of 35 from the defense industry enterprises. New approaches are required in working with young people. Our task is to create the most favorable and comfortable conditions that would allow young personnel to self-actualize, study, work with mentors, participate in the life of enterprises and move up the career ladder, " Vladislav Bevza said.
"I would like to draw attention to the importance of working with schoolchildren in the issue of their professional orientation towards high-tech industries, including the defense industry. In this matter, we need to rely on the advice of young scientists and specialists, as well as similar youth organizations. It is through the associations of young people "on the ground" that we consider it right to build a systematic work," Vladislav Bevza explained.
