KUBINKA, 25 Aug-RIA Novosti. Belarus is interested in purchasing AK-12 submachine guns, but an official application has not yet been received from Minsk, Dmitry Shugaev, director of the Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation of the Russian Federation, told reporters on Wednesday during the Army-2021 forum.
"We do not have an official application for the AK-12, but they are very interested, it's just probably premature to talk about any serious negotiations on this topic," he said, answering journalists ' questions.
The head of the Federal Customs Service noted that Kazakhstan and Armenia, which had previously purchased these weapons, are also showing interest in these submachine guns.
