TSAMTO, August 25. At the MVTF "Army-2021", the operators of scientific companies present promising developments of the Military Innovative Technopolis "ERA".
In particular, a large number of innovative developments that meet the needs of the modern technological development of the country are presented in the direction of "Information and telecommunications technologies of automated control systems and IT". One of them is a laser optical-electronic system for landing a helicopter-type aircraft on an unprepared surface.
The project is a complex that measures the coordinates of optically contrasting points using the infrared range of laser emitters (using a camera) and determines the position of the helicopter.
With the help of this system, manned and unmanned helicopters perform an accurate and safe landing on any unequipped site, including in difficult weather conditions and interference conditions.
The development has cardinal differences from foreign competitors – it has more advanced functionality. The system uses laser radiation sources of a special range and can be used if it is necessary to observe masking.
The model can be used both in the interests of the Russian Defense Ministry and in the civilian sector.
The work on the project was carried out by the operators of scientific companies of the Military Innovative Technopolis "ERA" together with the Military Training and Research Center of the Air Force "Air Force Academy named after Academician N. E. Zhukovsky and Yu.A.Gagarin", the Department of Information and Mass Communications of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reports.
