Rosoboronexport has signed the first contract for the supply of the upgraded Pantsir-S1M anti-aircraft missile and gun system. This was reported in the press service of the company at the International Military-technical Forum "Army-2021".
ZRPK "Pantsir-S1M" is equipped with new anti-aircraft guided missiles. The range of hitting objects with these missiles has increased from 20 to 30 kilometers, and the height - from 15 to 18 kilometers, writes TASS. At the same time, the volume of the protected zone has been tripled, and the secrecy has also been increased. Along with the new missiles, the ZRPC can also use missiles from the Pantsir-S1 complex.
The press service of Rosoboronexport added that 20 contracts worth about $ 2.35 billion were signed at the Army-2021 forum.
