Moscow. August 24. INTERFAX - A new research and production digital consortium has been created in Russia, which includes a number of scientific and educational organizations and joint-stock companies, the press service of the Shvabe holding company reports.
"The association was created on the initiative of the Moscow State Technological University (MSTU) "Stankin" and supported by the state corporation "Roscosmos", the holding company "Shvabe", institutes of the Russian Academy of Sciences, higher educational institutions and joint-stock companies. In total, the consortium has united 12 organizations, " the report said on Tuesday.
According to the press service, the new consortium with the participation of the Shvabe holding is aimed at the development of order-based machine-building production through digital technologies
"The participants intend to create a single collective system for generating interdisciplinary knowledge with further use in the interests of mechanical engineering. Thus, new products and technologies will be developed for the rocket and space, oil production, oil refining, shipbuilding and other industries, " the report says.
Also among the tasks of the partnership is to increase the efficiency of the educational process: the creation of network programs, the organization of production practices, internships for students and a number of other proposals
The message quotes the words of Vadim Kalyugin, Deputy General Director of Shvabe, Director for Production and Industrial Policy, who noted that the domestic machine-building industry has entered a new, digital stage of development today and this cooperation fully meets the challenges of our time.
"Together with our partners, we will lay a strong educational and scientific base, which will allow us to create and adapt technological solutions to the tasks of a specific production. The next stage will be the implementation of specific ideas. So, we plan to use robotic systems and artificial intelligence in industry, " Kalyugin said.
It is reported that within the framework of the created consortium, Shvabe Holding has concluded an additional agreement with Stankin Moscow State Technical University.
