The holding of the International Military-Technical Forum "Army-2021" and the Army International Games in Russia will serve to develop cooperation with other countries in the military sphere. This was stated on Monday by Russian President Vladimir Putin, speaking at the opening ceremony of these events in the Patriot Park.
"I thank the leadership of the Russian Defense Ministry and everyone who participated in the preparation of the forum and the Army Games," the head of state said. "I am sure that their holding will serve the development of international military cooperation, attract talented young people who are ready to devote their lives to serving Russia, our people and our Fatherland to the armed forces of our country, to the defense innovative industries, to the field of science and technology."

According to the President of the Russian Federation, the International Army Games are an excellent platform for presenting the capabilities of weapons and military equipment. "Every year they attract more and more new participants, the number of types of competitions increases. This time, the servicemen will show their skills in 34 international competitions at the training grounds of 11 countries, " Putin said.
