Kalashnikov is starting an active promotional campaign for its new submachine gun. Yesterday, on August 22, the press service of the concern published a video with details of a new model of small arms PPK-20, which is positioned as a weapon for inclusion in a wearable emergency reserve (NAZ).
"Tests of the PPK-20 were conducted at the state flight test center of the Ministry of Defense in Akhtubinsk, which showed the possibility of placing it in an ejection seat, tests are continuing to assess the effectiveness of the changes made. With positive test results, the Kalashnikov Group is ready to start producing PPK-20 submachine guns with significant export potential, "the press service of the Kalashnikov concern reported.

According to the developers, the length of the PPK-20 with a folded butt is 41 cm. The test program at the enterprise showed that when using 7N21 cartridges, a bulletproof vest of protection class 3A (according to the NIJ standard) is penetrated, the initial velocity of the bullet is about 470 m/s, the range of a direct shot at a growth target is 360 m.
