KUBINKA /Moscow region/, August 23. /TASS/. Russia is ready to develop military and military-technical cooperation (MTC) with Myanmar, Russian Deputy Defense Minister Alexander Fomin said at a meeting with the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Myanmar, Maung Maung Ay, on Monday.
"We intend to further strengthen and develop relations between our states, including in the military and military-technical spheres, "he said." < ... > The Republic of the Union of Myanmar is our strategic, reliable partner in the Asia-Pacific region, in Southeast Asia. Fomin stressed that the military delegation from Myanmar at the Army-2021 exhibition will have a great opportunity to get acquainted with a large range of Russian-made weapons.
