"We are watching the events, of course. In the event of such a need (for) neighboring countries or our partners, taking into account the threat of the Taliban (a terrorist organization banned in the Russian Federation) in Afghanistan or any other unforeseen development of events, we are ready to respond, "Mikheev said at the Army-2021 forum, answering a corresponding question.
"Russian equipment is mainly used in these regions," he said.
"We are ready, taking into account all the necessary conditions. Moreover, we work with the CIS countries. All our relations with Belarus, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan are successfully developing," he said.
"We use our experience, which we have, to the maximum for military-technical cooperation," Mikheev said
