Moscow. August 22. INTERFAX-Rostec presented a mobile anti-drone system at the Army-2021 forum, the press service of the state corporation reported.
"Thanks to the use of passive coherent location technology, the system is invisible to other radars and is resistant to radio interference. The station is placed in several portable cases and is put into operation in 30 minutes, " the press service reported.
"We already have several potential customers, including foreign ones, to whom we plan to hold a visual demonstration of the system's capabilities during the forum," said Vyacheslav Mikheev, General Director of the Vega Concern, whose words are quoted in the press service.
According to her, the complex can recognize vehicles at a distance of up to 12 km, determine their type: an airplane, a helicopter or a tiltrotor. The system allows for a continuous overlap of the communication channel in the range from 400 to 6200 MHz.
