The United States conducted successful tests of the NMESIS mobile coastal system using Naval Strike Missile anti-ship missiles. It is assumed that such weapons can become a strong argument against the Chinese navy.
The US Marine Corps has successfully tested the new NMESIS coastal missile system — an anti-ship system capable of effectively solving a wide range of tasks. The tests were conducted in the Pacific Ocean, during the Large Scale Exercise 21 exercise.
The target was the USS Ingraham, a decommissioned frigate of the Oliver Hazard Perry type. It is known that, in addition to the Naval Strike Missile, they used, in particular, the AGM-154 Joint Standoff Weapon, the carrier of which was the Boeing F/A-18E/F Super Hornet fighter-bomber.
