The kit provides various types of maintenance of components of air defense systems

The Russian defense company JSC "GPTP " Granit", a subsidiary of JSC "Concern of East Kazakhstan Region "Almaz-Antey", presented a mobile set of repair and diagnostic equipment "REDCOM"in Istanbul on Wednesday. This was reported to the TASS correspondent by the company's representative Yevgeny Gladilin.
"REDICOM" provides various types of maintenance of components of air defense systems, their repair by the aggregate method with partial restoration of the resource, as well as repair (maintainable in the conditions of REDICOM) of replaceable elements of radio-electronic equipment, blocks and aggregates from the composition of air defense systems and from the composition of the sets of operational spare parts (spare parts of tools and accessories) attached to them. The work on the military repair of air defense systems is carried out on the basis of innovative resource-saving technologies, using interactive electronic repair documentation and under the control of an integrated automated information system. "This product has adaptability to other types of military equipment products, which allows for maintenance and repair of modern and promising weapons and military equipment products," the agency's interlocutor said on the sidelines of the international defense industry exhibition IDEF’21.
According to Gladilin, "REDCOM" is offered by JSC "Concern of East Kazakhstan Region" Almaz-Antey " to the buyer countries as part of the post-warranty service services provided as an independent product, as well as operating as part of existing or newly created technical centers for the repair of operated air defense equipment.
The IDEF ' 21 exhibition opened on Tuesday at the TUYAP Exhibition Center in Istanbul and will run until August 20. The exhibition is organized by the Ministry of National Defense of Turkey under the patronage of the Turkish Presidential Administration and will be held in the largest Turkish metropolis for the 15th time. It will be attended by advanced defense concerns, including a number of Russian ones (Rosoboronexport, part of Rostec, Kalashnikov Group of Companies, Almaz-Antey East Kazakhstan Region).
The organizers of the exhibition told TASS that a wide range of products from 1,236 defense companies from 53 countries, including 536 Turkish ones, will be presented on the territory of TUYAP. 154 delegations from 79 countries of the world are scheduled to participate. Following the results of the exhibition, a number of contracts are expected to be signed, as well as the presentation of new products.
