He pointed out that as part of ensuring the safe evacuation of American citizens and the category of Afghans, additional US military forces were deployed to Afghanistan. Earlier in the day, on August 15, the United States assumed responsibility for air traffic control from Kabul Airport.
At the moment, citizens of other countries are being evacuated at the Kabul airport. Employees of American departments were supposed to destroy US flags and important documents.
