The IDEF-2021 exhibition will be held on August 17-20
MOSCOW, August 13. /TASS/. The Sula radar station, designed to monitor space objects, as well as the S-400 anti-aircraft missile system, the Viking anti-aircraft missile system and other air defense systems will be presented by Almaz-Antey Concern at the IDEF-2021 International Defense Exhibition, which will be held in Istanbul from August 17 to 20. This was reported on Friday in the press service of the concern.
"A separate demonstration area at the concern's stand will be dedicated to radar means of monitoring the airspace. Here, guests and participants of IDEF-2021 will be able to get acquainted with information about the Sula radar station, designed to monitor space objects, "the press service said. In the form of models and videos, the S-400 Triumph anti-aircraft missile system, the Viking, Buk-M2E anti-aircraft missile systems and the Tor line, as well as models of the anti-aircraft guided missiles included in them, will be presented.
In addition, a model of the Doppler meteorological radar "DMRL-3", the radar-optical complex for ensuring the safety of objects and neutralization of unmanned aerial vehicles ROSC-1, the upgraded radar "Aurora-2", as well as the highway radar complex "Sopka-2"will be presented.
"Taking into account the current difficult situation in the world today, our participation in the exhibition is primarily aimed at strengthening the image of the concern as a reliable supplier of exclusive defense products that contribute to preserving the sovereignty and security of the buyer countries, as well as expanding the range of potential customers of products," said Vyacheslav Dzirkaln, Deputy General Director for Foreign Economic Affairs, as quoted by the press service.
The deputy head of the concern stressed that Almaz-Antey provides a full life cycle of manufactured products, including the possibility of profitable modernization of previously supplied equipment, and consistently demonstrates the highest production and technological competencies, economic stability, quality and competitiveness of manufactured products.
