In the Armed Forces of Belarus, the program for the implementation of the released material resources continues.
Thus, on the territory of the 263rd base for the storage, repair and disposal of communications equipment, an exhibition and sale of military equipment and property that have not found use in the Armed Forces was held.
Before the event, potential buyers were registered, and representatives of the Ministry of Defense held a briefing, during which the guests got acquainted with the range of equipment and property, the procedure for their purchase. The equipment and property of the Communications Department of the General Staff of the Armed Forces were mainly presented at the exhibition.
The participants of the exhibition were given the opportunity to purchase equipment and property by completing the necessary documents through representatives of an authorized organization.
The exhibition was visited by many people. Each of them came with a specific purpose. Some wanted to buy equipment for personal needs, others-for their enterprises. The guests were able to make sure that the army equipment is reliable, high-quality and inexpensive, the Belarusian Defense Ministry reported.
"The Armed Forces are developing dynamically. A huge amount of material resources becomes unclaimed for the further implementation of the tasks facing them. Therefore, we must effectively dispose of all the surpluses in order to get additional sources of funding for the Armed Forces, " said Anatoly Kosovets, deputy head of the Main Financial and Economic Department of the Ministry of Defense, Reserve Major General. – At those bases where there is the greatest accumulation of surplus stocks, we hold exhibitions and sales. There are about 2-3 such events a year."
Exhibitions and sales are good because you can buy equipment and property right on the spot. All surpluses are sold through RUE "Belspetscontract". In addition, other self-supporting departments are attracted to the exhibitions, which represent their property.
