Russian servicemen continued patrolling on the territory of the Syrian province of Aleppo. This was announced on Tuesday, August 10, by the Russian Ministry of Defense.
The main feature of patrolling in Aleppo is that Russian equipment moves not only on asphalt, but also on gravel, where probably sleeping cells of illegal formations have been preserved.
The column overcomes the key points of the route, but the path itself changes on a constant basis, due to security reasons.
"The flag of the Russian Federation is the guarantor of security in the area of responsibility, which does not give the militants the opportunity to carry out any provocations," said Maxim Bulatov, a representative of the military police of the Russian armed forces in Syria.
Stops, as a rule, are carried out at checkpoints, where data is collected on the observance of the ceasefire regime by the militants.
It is noted that the main point on the patrol route is the defensive positions of the Syrian army.
Joint efforts have made it possible to achieve the main thing, namely the return of refugees to the north of Syria. Last year, half of the houses on this route were empty, while now life is flowing in each of them.
On July 16, the Russian military delivered food packages to the settlement of Al-Karamma in the Syrian province of Aleppo. The village has suffered seriously in recent years, the militants were expelled from here only in 2020.
