In 2021, the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation will actively participate in the VII International Military-Technical Forum "Army-2021" in order to form and sustainably operate a network of leading universities included in global rankings that implement breakthrough research and development work that can be successfully implemented at enterprises of the military-industrial complex. 25 universities and institutes of the Russian Academy of Sciences will take part in the work, including Ufa State Aviation Technical University, NUST MISIS, National Research Tomsk Polytechnic University, Moscow Automobile and Road State Technical University, D. F. Ustinov BSTU VOENMEH, ITMO National Research University.
At the stand of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation 4D1-2 in Pavilion D, the results of innovative projects implemented at the institutes will be presented, such as a quantum random number generator that provides a 1000-fold speed superiority over classical RNG, a remote-controlled uninhabited underwater vehicle TNPA TurtleROV2 with a maximum working depth of 400 m, a cryomedic electric machine with an intelligent system for controlling an aircraft engine, a self-propelled thermal flaw detector for detecting hidden defects in large-area flat aircraft panels, mobile small-sized refueling facilities upper stages and spacecraft of space rockets based on precision weighing devices equipped with an automatic operator's workplace, a remote-controlled uninhabited underwater vehicle "Baltiets", an electric pump unit of hydraulic systems of rocket, space and aviation equipment with a control system that implements diagnostics and forecasting of the technical condition of the electric pump unit using artificial intelligence.
