Developers of the electronic component database (ECB) and modules based on it will be able to receive federal subsidies, the procedure and conditions for providing such support were approved by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.
As explained on the government's website, we are talking about the development and production of electronics-from components and modules for cars and household appliances to neuroprocessors for artificial intelligence systems that can be used in medical equipment and computer technology.
You can get subsidies for projects that will be developed within five years. The amount of the subsidy is up to 1.5 billion rubles a year. Due to state support, manufacturers will be able to reimburse up to 90% of the costs.
Money, in particular, is allowed to be directed to research and development of products, remuneration of employees, equipment and creation of high-tech workplaces, production of prototypes of products and their pilot batches.
The organization applying for subsidies must make a commitment that the revenue from the implementation of the developed modules will be at least the amount of the subsidy received, and from the developed ECB – at least half of the subsidy.
To receive state support, organizations will have to pass a competitive selection. Its procedure and conditions will be published on the website of the Ministry of Industry and Trade. The collection of applications from applicants is scheduled to be completed by September 1.
In 2021, the federal budget provides 3 billion rubles for subsidies to ECB developers. The work is carried out within the framework of the state program "Development of the electronic and radio-electronic industry".
