TSAMTO, July 30. JSC "KB Radar" has completed the development, manufacture and acceptance tests of the device for blocking the radio channels of control and navigation of multicopters "Groza-R4".
The product is designed to prevent unauthorized penetration of small-sized UAVs into the protected area.
The device is made in the form of a case with overall dimensions of 103x63x23 cm, mounted on a tripod on a rotary-inclined bracket. The weight of the product is about 20 kg. The device can be operated both from a stationary position and on open mobile platforms.
The advantages of the latest development of JSC "KB Radar" are compactness and ease of use. The device for blocking the radio channels of control and navigation of the "Groza-P4" multicopters can be used in various terrain conditions, including in urban conditions. Also, the advantage of the product is that its use does not require prolonged training and the presence of special skills from the operator.
A simple rotation of the product towards an aerial target with the push of a button allows you to block the control channels of the drone. As a result, the drone makes an emergency landing or returns to the take-off point.
If the multicopter begins to return to the take-off point, the user of the product can block the navigation channels by pressing a button, which leads to an emergency landing of the drone or its transition into an uncontrolled flight with a subsequent fall.
It is also possible to operate the device in the omnidirectional radiation mode, in which it is not necessary to turn the product towards the multicopter.
The range of suppression of control channels and data transmission of drones is up to 1 km, the time of continuous operation for radiation is up to 60 minutes, the press service of the State Military Industry of the Republic of Belarus reports.
