TSAMTO, July 30. A series of joint events of the Board of the Military-Industrial Commission and the Ministry of Defense of Russia has ended in the Military Innovation Technopolis "ERA".
The final event of the day was a scientific and technical seminar dedicated to the creation of a scientific and technical reserve for weapons, military and special equipment and the military-industrial complex.
The event was attended by the leadership of the military administration bodies of the basic and specialized sections of the scientific and technical Council of the Military-Industrial Commission, representatives of the Russian Academy of Sciences, heads of scientific institutions, educational organizations of higher education and industrial organizations.
Acting Head of the Main Department of Research Activities and Technological Support of Advanced Technologies (Innovative Research) The Russian Defense Ministry, Major General Dmitry Gorbatenko, noted in his report that the activities of the Military Innovation Technopolis "ERA" are aimed at the development of promising technologies, as well as the introduction of innovative developments in the interests of creating military products. In addition, the speaker outlined the unique capabilities of technopolis, which allow implementing the chain of "knowledge-research-solutions" in the interests of creating promising technologies and developing promising weapons.
Among the most relevant topics for discussion was the coordination of the use of distributed and independent innovation support resources on the example of the development of artificial intelligence technologies. In addition, special attention was paid to the use of scientific and technical groundwork in the field of supercomputer technologies in the interests of solving the tasks of the military-industrial complex.
The participants of the seminar discussed the issues of activating the activities of scientific organizations in the formation of scientific and technical reserve in the interests of national defense and state security, and also made proposals on optimizing the methods of forming scientific and technical reserve for weapons, military and special equipment and the military-industrial complex.
The organizers of the scientific and technical seminar were representatives of the basic section No. 1 of the Scientific and technical Council of the Military-Industrial Commission of the Russian Federation "Management of the creation of scientific and technical reserve for weapons, military and special equipment and the military-industrial complex".
The event was held as part of the Year of Science and Technology in the Russian Federation, according to the Department of Information and Mass Communications of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
