Turkey and Azerbaijan are negotiating the creation of a joint Turkic army. Within the framework of the agreements, military exercises of the two countries are also held, said the chairman of the Turkish Grand National Assembly, Mustafa Shentop.
"The tension created by the Armenian Armed Forces on the border with Azerbaijan can lead to a regional war. Our idea is one nation, two states. In this regard, many negotiations and agreements were held, " Sputnik Radio quoted Shentop as saying.
The Chairman also noted that the heads of Azerbaijan, Turkey and Pakistan can create a trilateral format. "There are not only interstate, but also interethnic relations between the three countries," he said.
Speaking about the tension on the part of the Armenian Armed Forces, Shentop said about the possible start of a regional war. He called on the international community to call on the country to " stop provocations that pose a threat to peace in the region."
