MOSCOW, July 22-RIA Novosti. Press Secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov commented on the exercises on disconnecting the Runet from the global network, noting their relevance in connection with the growing cybercrime.
He noted that the results of the exercises should be asked from those who conducted them, Roskomnadzor, the Ministry of Communications, first of all.
"We know, yes, about these exercises, they are relevant. We see that we are living in an age when cybercrime is gaining momentum, and there is still a shortage of active international cooperation in the fight against cybercrime," Peskov told reporters.
He also noted that humanity lives in an age when many countries are apologists of the sanctions policy, the tools of this policy are unpredictable, so " you need to be ready for everything, counting, of course, on interaction and cooperation first of all."
