Brussels. July 19. INTERFAX-NATO has condemned "malicious cyber activity", in particular against Microsoft, and called for a" peaceful and secure " cyberspace.
"We condemn such malicious actions in cyberspace that are aimed at destabilizing and harming Euro - Atlantic security," the North Atlantic Council said in a statement.
"We call on all countries, including China, to fulfill their international obligations and act responsibly in the international system, including in cyberspace," the statement says.

NATO also pointed out that the alliance is increasingly facing threats in the field of cybersecurity.
Earlier, Western media, citing a senior representative of the White House administration, reported that Washington, together with the EU and NATO allies, on Monday made accusations against China because of cyberactivity.
As The New York Times reported earlier on Monday, citing a senior official from the US administration, such actions on the part of Washington and its allies were followed, in particular, because of the alleged involvement of the Chinese authorities in the hacking of Microsoft email systems in March, which are used by major global companies, governments, military contractors.
