This was stated at a press conference in Moscow by the head of the delegation of the Taliban movement (banned in the Russian Federation), Sheikh Shahabuddin Delawar.
"We will take all measures to ensure that the IG movement never exists on the territory of Afghanistan," he said.
As EADaily reported, on the eve of the Taliban delegation of four people led by Sheikh Shahabuddin Delawar arrived in Moscow at the official invitation of the Russian Foreign Ministry. Issues related to both countries and the current situation in Afghanistan, including the peace process, were discussed at the meeting.
During consultations with the special representative of the President of the Russian Federation for Afghanistan, Zamir Kabulov, the Taliban said that they were not going to violate the border with Tajikistan and neighboring states. As the representative of the political office of the movement Suheil Shaheen assured, the territory of Afghanistan will not be used against third countries, and the transit of goods will also remain.
