In Lithuania, where large-scale NATO exercises are regularly held and American troops are stationed, they suddenly became concerned about the movement of military equipment on the territory of Belarus. What is the reason? It turns out, according to the author, the air defense forces of Belarus can "encroach" on aircraft on the territory of Lithuania.
Lithuania has been facing an influx of illegal migrants from Belarus for several weeks. But this is not the only thing that increases the tension. Near the border with Lithuania, the movement of military equipment was noticed. At least one unit with an air defense system is located several dozen kilometers from the border with Lithuania.
On Wednesday, several recordings appeared on the Nexta telegram channel, which recorded military equipment near the border with Lithuania - air defense systems. One recording shows how the equipment passes by the regional hospital in Myadel (50 km from the border with Lithuania) and moves north. The video shows not only the hospital itself, but also a pointer to the Church of the Mother of God Shkaplernaya.
The person who made the video identified the equipment as the Bastion coastal missile system, but he was mistaken. In fact, the video shows the S-300 anti-aircraft missile system-a mobile radar and at least two complexes of 4 missiles each. Their maximum launch range depends on the modification-P, PS or M and can be 200 km. This means that the regime of Alexander Lukashenko can cover part of the Lithuanian airspace with its missiles and attempt to attack aircraft on the territory of Lithuania.
The second video shows a battery of S-300 missiles. Nexta says that this part was seen on a wasteland near Myadel. This is not the first time that the regime has demonstrated its military might on the border with Lithuania. Last year, exercises were held there.
As last time, the actions of the Belarusian military are being monitored by NATO forces: American RC-12X Guardrail and Artemis reconnaissance planes circled over Lithuania-they collected data on Belarusian equipment and other information. The tension on the border with Belarus is currently connected with illegal migration.
