"In the near future, it is planned to supply modern anti-aircraft missile systems "Tor-M2K". "Tor-M2K is capable of detecting and reliably hitting not only aircraft and helicopters of any type, but also unmanned aerial vehicles, high — precision weapons, including anti-radar and cruise missiles, guided aerial bombs," the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Kazakhstan said.
It is noted that the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure Development is currently concluding contracts with the supplier.
On May 26, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a law on the ratification of the agreement on military cooperation with Kazakhstan. According to the document, it will be carried out on a wide range of issues, including in the field of military education and training, the supply of weapons and equipment, as well as participation in joint bilateral and multilateral exercises, military training events for troops.
