WASHINGTON, June 24. NASA is working with partners from Russia and other countries to ensure the availability of a crew for the safe operation of the International Space Station (ISS). This was announced on Wednesday by the official representative of the US space Agency Stephanie Schirholz.
She commented on the information that appeared earlier in the Russian media that the American administration could book an additional seat on the Russian manned transport spacecraft Soyuz for the flight of an astronaut to the ISS, it could be Laurel O'Hara.
"NASA is constantly working with stakeholders and partners from Russia, Canada, Europe and Japan to ensure that there is a crew in orbit for the safe operation, maintenance and maximum scientific use of the International Space Station. The composition of the crews is published after its final approval, " Shirholz noted.
