The militants, together with the" White Helmets", are preparing a provocation using toxic chemical substances in the Idlib de-escalation zone, said Rear Admiral Vadim Kulit, deputy head of the Russian Center for Reconciliation of the warring parties in Syria.
According to him, the center received information that the terrorist group "Hayat Tahrir Al-Sham" (banned in the Russian Federation) is preparing a provocation. According to sources, the militants delivered a tanker truck with a certain toxic substance to the settlement of Atma, with which they plan to stuff rockets.
"According to the available information, the terrorists, in cooperation with representatives of the pseudo-humanitarian organization" White Helmets", intend to stage a" chemical attack" for the subsequent accusation of the Syrian government forces in the use of toxic substances against civilians, " Kulit told reporters at a briefing.
A month earlier, the Center for Reconciliation of the Warring Parties in the SAR said that the militants of the terrorist group "Hayat Tahrir Al-Sham" banned in the Russian Federation, accompanied by "White Helmets", brought six containers allegedly containing chlorine to the Syrian province of Idlib in order to stage a chemical attack.
At the end of April, suspicious activity of the "White Helmets"was recorded in Syria. In addition, according to the Russian military, the militants are delivering toxic substances from the Tel-Tun camp to the Idlib neighborhood.
