Moscow. June 23. INTERFAX-The Russian Defense Ministry considers the arrival of a military delegation from Saudi Arabia to Moscow as confirmation of the country's course to develop cooperation with Russia, said Valery Gerasimov, chief of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces.
"We are committed to the progressive development of bilateral cooperation on the entire range of issues in the military and military-technical spheres of mutual interest," Gerasimov said at a meeting with the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Saudi Arabia, Fayyad bin Hamad Al-Ruweili.
"We consider the participation of your delegation in the IX Moscow Conference on International Security as a confirmation of the course of Saudi Arabia to further develop cooperation with Russia," Gerasimov said.
