Moscow. June 23. INTERFAX-The intensification of contacts with the Ministry of Defense of Qatar is of particular importance, and meetings at the level of defense ministers contribute to strengthening friendly ties, Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu believes.
"Taking into account the significant role of Qatar in the Arab world, we attach special importance to the activation of contacts between the defense departments of our countries. I am sure that today's meeting will contribute to the growth of mutual understanding and the strengthening of friendly relations between our countries, " Shoigu said at a meeting with Deputy Prime Minister, State Minister of Defense of Qatar Khalid bin Mohammed al-Attiyah.
He thanked the delegation of Qatar for the visit.
